The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Port Mansfield TX to the Rio Grande River out 20 NM... Waters from Port Mansfield TX to the Rio Grande River from 20 to 60 NM... At 1020 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated a front, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This front was located along a line extending from 32 nm east of Laguna Madre to 13 nm east of South Padre Island to 14 nm southeast of Boca Chica Beach, moving east-southeast at 20 to 25 knots.
Instruction: 
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, brief torrential rains reducing visibility below 1 nm, and a few lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
