Coastal Waters of Saint Croix...
Coastal Waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and
just north of Culebra and Saint John...
At 151 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots with posible
waterspout. This thunderstorm was located over mainly areas of
coastal waters between Vieques and St. Thomas. The thunderstorm is
moving southeast at 5 knots.
Instruction:
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
