At 338 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms
were located over mainly areas between eastern Puerto Rico and the
U.S Virgin Islands and over the Anegada passage, moving southeast
between 5 to 10 knots.
Instruction:
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
