At 629 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent lightning. These
thunderstorms were located over the nearshore and offshore Atlantic
waters, moving north-northwest at 10 to 15 knots.
Instruction:
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
