Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Platte River near Platte City. * WHEN...From Saturday evening to Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, cropland near State Highway 92 near Platte City begins to flood. At 22.0 feet, flooding occurs at Humphreys Access Area which is located 5 miles downstream from Platte City. 300 acres of pasture are also flooded. At 25.0 feet, water overtops 1st Street in Tracy, Missouri. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 3.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 25.5 feet early Monday afternoon.
