At 415 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles east of Mesita, or 12 miles east of Laguna Pueblo, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Northwestern Albuquerque, Paradise Hills, Mesita and Tohajiilee. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 119 and 154.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
