Description:
At 602 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Saginaw to near Thomson to near Holyoke to 6
miles northwest of Duxbury, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Duluth, Superior, Cloquet, Hermantown, Proctor, Scanlon, Carlton,
Wrenshall, Oliver, Holyoke, Thomson, Brookston, Jay Cooke State Park,
Pike Lake Near Duluth, City of Rice Lake, Saginaw, Foxboro, Island
Lake, Fond Du Lac Band Cloquet Area, and Boulder Lake.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Minnesota...and northwestern Wisconsin.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
