Description:
At 607 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Babbitt, or 25
miles south of Ely, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Babbitt.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
Minnesota.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, go at once into the
