Description:
At 324 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
Villanueva, or 18 miles south of Las Vegas, moving northeast at 30
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Ribera, Villanueva, Sena and Chapelle.
This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 322 and 331.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
