At 605 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Oakville, or near Bent Creek, moving south at 30 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Public. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Amherst... Appomattox... Bent Creek... Appomattox National Historic Park... Riverville... New Glasgow... and Stonewall.
