At 613 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of
Newkirk, or 25 miles east of Santa Rosa, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Montoya and Newkirk.
This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 295 and 322.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
