Description:
At 246 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ironton, moving
northwest at 25 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Lake Vesuvius, Catlettsburg, Flatwoods,
Russell, Vernon, Waterloo, Raceland, Worthington, Wurtland,
Bellefonte, Aid, Westwood, Crown City, Athalia, Hanging Rock,
Scottown, and Gage.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
