Description:
At 557 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Winfield to 6 miles east of Arkansas City, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Arkansas City, Winfield, Burden, Dexter, Maple City, Winfield City
Lake, and Strother Field Airport.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for south central
Kansas.
