At 607 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles east of Winfield to 6 miles southwest of
Dexter, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Winfield, Burden, Dexter, Maple City, and Winfield City Lake.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for south central
Kansas.
