Description:
At 756 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles north of Colony to 5 miles west of Thayer,
moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Chanute, Iola, Neodesha, Humboldt, Erie, St. Paul, La Harpe, Gas,
Moran, Thayer, Altoona, Neosho Falls, Galesburg, Savonburg, Elsmore,
Stark, Earlton, Mildred, Bassett, and Lake Parsons.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern
Kansas.
