* Until midnight CDT.
* At 1129 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Fair Play to 6 miles southwest of Everton to
near Granby, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Carthage, Bolivar, Stockton Lake, Willard, Mount Vernon, Ash Grove,
Greenfield, Sarcoxie, Lockwood, Diamond, Miller, Walnut Grove,
Morrisville, Everton, Fidelity, Dadeville, Stotts City, Halltown,
Freistatt, and Wentworth.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 44 between mile markers 15 and 61.
Interstate 49 between mile markers 30 and 33, and between mile
markers 36 and 38.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
