At 237 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles west of
Eunice Airport, or 18 miles west of Eunice, moving northeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Hobbs, Monument, Nadine, Eunice Airport, Oil Center, and Lea County
Regional Airport.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for southeastern
New Mexico...and western Texas.
