At 232 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles east of
Katie, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Davis, Wynnewood, Elmore City, Katie, Dougherty, Tatums, Ratliff
City, Hennepin, Pooleville, and Turner Falls.
Instruction:
A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms.
