Description:
At 216 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Goodman, or 8
miles south of Neosho, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Neosho and Goodman.
This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 9 and 23.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for southwestern
Missouri.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

building.
