* At 454 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of
Mount Vernon, or 8 miles west of Mount Pleasant, moving northeast
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Instruction:

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek
