Description:
At 727 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located 42 miles north of
Broken Bow, or 48 miles northwest of De Queen, moving northeast at
50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Bethel, Battiest and Smithville.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek
shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM CST Tuesday for a
portion of southeast Oklahoma.
