Description:
* WHAT...For the first Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds
around 20 knots with gusts up to 30 knots expected. For the
Gale Warning, southwest winds 20 to 30 knots with gusts up to
35 knots and seas 4 to 7 feet expected. For the second Small
Craft Advisory, northwest winds around 25 knots with gusts up
to 30 knots and seas 5 to 8 feet expected.
* WHERE...Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 20-60 nm.
* WHEN...For the first Small Craft Advisory, from 4 AM to 7 AM
EST Monday. For the Gale Warning, from 7 AM to 9 PM EST
Monday. For the second Small Craft Advisory, from 9 PM Monday
to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
