Description:
* WHAT...East winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas
7 to 10 feet expected.
* WHERE...Palau and Yap Coastal Waters.
* WHEN...From 6 PM Monday to 3 PM ChST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dominant trade swell, background north
swell, and moderate to fresh trade winds will maintain choppy, 7
to 9 foot seas at Yap and Palau through Monday. Then, increases
in north swell, east swell, and trade winds this upcoming week
are expected to create hazardous conditions for mariners
operating small craft.
Instruction:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.
