Description:
* WHAT...Steep seas 7 to 12 feet. Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots
with gusts up to 30 knots tonight into early Wednesday morning.
* WHERE...Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican Border
Extending 30 to 60 nm out including San Clemente Island.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM PST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated seas due to several long period,
west-northwest swells at 16 to 20 seconds through this
afternoon. Shorter periods mix in this evening into early
Wednesday morning, leading to locally steeper seas.
Instruction:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
