Description:
* WHAT...East winds 15 to 20 kt with frequent gusts up to 25 kt
and seas 8 to 10 feet.
* WHERE...Majuro Coastal Waters.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM ChST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Altimetry data shows a large swath of wind
in excess of 22 knots extending east-northeast fro m Majuro and
well east-northeast of the Date Line. This suggests at least a
few more days of these winds are probable.
Instruction:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.
