Description:
At 728 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Carpenter, or 17 miles south of Clark, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Willow Lake, Mayfield Colony, Fordham Colony, and Carpenter.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
South Dakota.
