* Until 145 AM PDT.
* At 108 AM PDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located 7 nm northwest of Gold Beach, moving
northeast at 10 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots and waterspouts
possible.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Boats could suffer significant structural
damage in high winds. Small craft could capsize in
suddenly higher waves.
* The severe thunderstorms will move toward Nesika Beach, but
any waterspouts should dissipate prior to moving onshore.
Instruction:
Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
