Description:
Light snow showers and flurries are occurring across southwest
Virginia and east Tennessee in a very cold airmass thats moving
southeast from the southern Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. The
precipitation will likely continue through at least the mid
morning hours. With the cold temperatures in the 20s and teens
some accumulation of a dusting to as much as a half inch is
possible.
While accumulations will be light, slippery conditions are
possible on untreated roadways. Also Lingering moisture from
Monday and Tuesday may have frozen on surfaces to form black ice.
If traveling this morning, use extra caution and allow extra time
to reach your destination.
