Through around 10 or 11 AM, at least limited areas of fog, some perhaps dense and reducing visibility to around 1/4 mile or less, will continue to affect or eventually develop within portions of primarily Smith, Osborne, Jewell and Mitchell counties. Any fog that does develop will gradually move out or dissipate from west- to-east ahead of an approaching cold front. In the meantime, motorists venturing out this morning should be prepared to encounter potential fog, and visibility that could vary considerably over short distances. At this time, it is unclear whether the coverage of truly dense fog will become widespread enough to perhaps justify a formal Dense Fog Advisory, but conditions will continue to be monitored.
