At 824 AM EST, a band of heavy snow was located over Panola Mountain State Park, or 9 miles west of Conyers, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...A band of heavy snow SOURCE...NWS Meteorologists ACCUMULATION...Accumulations of up to 2 inches of snow are expected over the next 1-2 hours. TEMPERATURES...Temperatures are expected to remain just below freezing. IMPACT...Visibility will be reduced to less than 1/2 miles at times. Roads will become snow covered. Expect travel to become more difficult. Locations impacted include... Atlanta, Marietta, Douglasville, Carrollton, McDonough, Decatur, Conyers, Monroe, Covington, Dallas, Jonesboro, Madison, Greensboro, Watkinsville, Buchanan, City of South Fulton, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, Dunwoody, and East Point.
