Description:
At 920 AM EST, a band of heavy snow was located along a line
extending from near Jersey to Boneville. Movement was eastnortheast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...A band of heavy snow possibly mixed with sleet
SOURCE...NWS Meteorologists
ACCUMULATION...Accumulations of up to 1 to 2 inches of heavy snow are
expected over 2 hours.
TEMPERATURES...Temperatures are expected to remain just below
freezing.
IMPACT...Roads will become snow covered. Expect travel to become
more difficult.

Lawrenceville, Conyers, Monroe, Covington, Washington, Madison,
Greensboro, Watkinsville, Warrenton, Crawfordville, Stockbridge,
Snellville, Loganville, Social Circle, Grayson, Oxford, Lithonia,
Union Point, Porterdale, and Walnut Grove.
Instruction:
The snow can accumulate at a rate of one inch per hour or more in
this band of heavy snow. Be prepared for hazardous driving
conditions. Consider delaying travel if you will be going through
this band of heavy snow.
