Description:
Scattered snow showers and freezing drizzle will continue late
this afternoon and evening. In addition, much colder air will
arrive. This will lead to any untreated roads, bridges, or
sidewalks to freeze and become slippery. Motorists are urged to
drive with caution this evening into Monday morning as roads that
appear wet may be slippery.
Temperatures will fall into the single digits below zero across
central and northern WI and single digits above zero in east-
central and northeast WI later tonight. As northwest winds
increase with gusts of 20 to 30 mph, wind chills will fall to 15
below to 20 below Monday morning. Frostbite can begin in as little
as 30 minutes with wind chills this cold.
