Description:
At 338 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Linton to 7 miles southeast of Palestine.
Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Linton, Odon, Lyons, Carlisle, Elnora, Oaktown, Plainville, Sandborn,
Edwardsport, Switz City, Newberry, Crane, Freelandville, and
Pleasantville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
southwestern Indiana.
