Description:
At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers capable of
producing a waterspout near Fernandina Beach, moving north at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts around 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs
and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Fernandina Beach, Yulee, Amelia City, and Dungeness.
Instruction:
