Description:
At 1233 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southeast of Ocracoke Light House, or 22 miles east of Cedar
Island, moving west at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Cedar Island, Sealevel, Davis, Smyrna, Atlantic, Otway, Williston,
Open Grounds Farm, Stacy, Bettie, Portsmouth Village, Ocracoke Light
House, Ocracoke Ferry Terminal, Cedar Island Ferry Terminal, and
Ocracoke Lighthouse.
