Description:
At 856 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mandaree, or 29 miles east of Watford City, moving northeast at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
New Town, Mandaree, 4 Bears Lodge, Four Bears Village, Skunk Creek
Bay Recreation Area, Pouch Point Recreation Area, Crow Flies High
State Recreation Area, and Fort Berthold.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
