Description:
At 252 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of National Radio Astronomy Observatory, or 17 miles
southeast of Datil, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
National Radio Astronomy Observatory.
This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 83 and 99.
Instruction:
