Description:
At 1158 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles east of Corona, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Lincoln, western De Baca, southwestern Guadalupe and southeastern
Torrance Counties.
This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 176 and 185.
Instruction:
If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
