Description:
At 119 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Anton Chico, or 32 miles northwest of Santa Rosa, moving northeast at
25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Dilia, Anton Chico, and Tecolotito.
Instruction:
If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central New Mexico.
