Description:
At 337 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles northwest of Nara Visa, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Amistad, Hayden, and Rosebud.
Instruction:
If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central New Mexico.
