At 924 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hoxie to 10 miles southeast of Amy.
Movement was east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Dighton and Pendennis around 930 PM CDT.
Alamota around 935 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these storms include Utica, Collyer
and Beeler.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
