At 210 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15 miles east of Oakhurst, or 18 miles southeast of Yosemite South Entrance, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Nature Point, Chilkoot Meadow, Clover Meadow Wilderness Office, Minarets, Buck Camp Ranger Station, and Graveyard Meadow.
