At 447 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Farmington, or 14 miles north of Northfield, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Lakeville, Apple Valley, Cottage Grove, Inver Grove Heights, Hastings, Rosemount, Farmington, St. Paul Park, Hampton, Vermillion, Coates, and Lakeville Airport.
