Description:
At 455 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles west of Fort Wayne, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Wayne, New Haven, Aboite, Nine Mile, Raber, Arcola, Dunfee,
Rolling Hills, Hessen Cassel, Coesse, Wallen, and Lake Everett.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 469 between mile markers 4 and 6, and between mile
markers 9 and 25.
Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 299 and 314.
