Description: 
At 849 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of New Mobeetie to 8 miles east of Brice. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Wellington, Clarendon, Shamrock, Briscoe, Wheeler, Mclean, Hedley, Dodson, Lutie, Lelia Lake, New Mobeetie, Twitty, Allison, Lela, Quail, Samnorwood, Kellerville, Dozier, Alanreed, and Mobeetie. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 130 and 176.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for the Panhandle of Texas.
