Description:
At 1126 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
cluster near Rougemont, or 7 miles south of Roxboro, moving south at
35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Creedmoor, Louisburg, Wake Forest, Butner,
Franklinton, Kittrell, Rougemont, and Youngsville.
Instruction:
