At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mullens, or 9 miles southeast of Pineville, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Princeton... Athens... Matoaka... Camp Creek... Camp Creek State Park... Flat Top... and Kegley.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Locally heavy rain will quickly reduce visibility and result in ponding of water on roadways, standing water in low lying areas, and minor flooding of creeks, streams, and areas of poor drainage.
