At 1235 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Lexington, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Winston-Salem, High Point, Lexington, Thomasville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Linwood, Lewisville, Archdale, and Trinity.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
