At 423 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Dortches, or near Rocky Mount, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Rocky Mount, Nashville, Dortches, Red Oak, Enfield, Sharpsburg, Spring Hope, Whitakers, Leggett, and Glenview.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Doppler radar has indicated weak rotation with this storm. If the storm intensifies and rotation strengthens, a warning may need to be issued.
