Description:
At 714 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Alexandria, or 9 miles north of Canton, moving east at
30 mph.
HAZARD...Nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Warsaw, Augusta, Wayland, Bowen, West Point, Alexandria, Winchester,
Denver, St. Patrick, Gregory Landing, Tioga, Sutter, Stillwell, and
Hancock County Fairgrounds.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Stay away from
flooded areas. Report any flooding to local law enforcement.
